Chapter Book Publishing Grant Application

Applications Are Now Being Accepted for Chapter Book Publishing Grants

In 2023, two grants valued at $8,000 each will be awarded by Publish Her for complete chapter book publishing. Additionally, 10 grants valued at $1,000 each will be awarded by Publish Her for discounted chapter book publishing. (Chapter book publishing includes editing, design, marketing and publishing a book of up to 80,000 words to Amazon and Ingram.)

To apply for a chapter book publishing grant from Publish Her, you must be the author of a previously unpublished final draft manuscript. You must also be a woman of color, a woman with a disability or a member of the LGBTQ+ community (or any combination of these), a legal resident of the U.S., and 18 years of age or older.

If you have written a book and identify as one or more of these, complete and submit the grant application. Applications are reviewed monthly.
