Partnership Opportunities

Partner With Publish Her on Your Workshop or Event

Publish Her partners with individuals and organizations aligned with our mission to offer virtual workshops and events to our diverse audience of business owners and authors.

In addition to elevating our partners, accessibility is central to Publish Her’s mission, so we carefully consider registration fees and offer program grants to women of color, women with disabilities and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Program Content

Program partners present their own content live and cover topics such as writing, editing, marketing, sales, etc. Interactive workshops and events are typically one to two hours in length and original to the program partner but not necessarily original to Publish Her.

Content is approved by Publish Her in advance. Workshop and event dates, times and admission fees are mutually agreed upon by both Publish Her and the program partner.

Program partners may not pitch their products or services to participants during a workshop or event; however, you may communicate with participants following a workshop or event and invite them to join your email list.

Program Management

Publish Her handles workshop and event registration, payment processing, communication with participants, and a Zoom account for hosting workshops and events. Prior to the workshop or event, program partners receive the participant roster and payment.

Publish Her compensates program partners in one of two ways: a flat fee per workshop or event (or per session for multi-session workshops or events); or a fee totaling 90% of paid admissions.

Flat Fee Structure
  • With the flat fee structure, a minimum number of paid registrations needed to cover the program partner fee and payment processing fees is determined in advance.
  • If the minimum number of paid registrations is not met two business days prior to the workshop or event date, the workshop or event is cancelled, participants are awarded a full refund, and Publish Her absorbs the loss of processing fees.
  • Program partners do not receive a fee for cancelled workshops or events.
90% Fee Structure
  • With the 90% fee structure, a desired number of paid registrations is determined in advance.
  • If the desired number of paid registrations is not met two business days prior to the workshop or event date, the program partner may opt to move forward with the understanding that they receive 90% of paid registrations, which may be less than their desired fee, and Publish Her does not make up the difference.
  • If the program partner opts not to move forward, the workshop or event is cancelled, participants are awarded a full refund, and Publish Her absorbs the loss of processing fees.
  • Program partners do not receive a presenter fee for cancelled workshops or events.

Program Grants

Publish Her requires a minimum of two unpaid registrations to be awarded to a minimum of two grantees for all partner workshops and events. These are in addition to, not in lieu of, paid registrations and are awarded by Publish Her (not program partners).

If you wish to provide more than two unpaid registrations or forgo a fee and facilitate a workshop or event that is free to all participants, please note it in your program partnership proposal.

Program Promotion

In addition to being listed on the website, workshop or event details are included in Publish Her’s monthly e-newsletter, which is distributed to 30,000-plus subscribers, and on social media to our 25,000-plus followers. Publish Her requires program partners to promote workshops or events as well, including sharing with your networks, collaborating on social media posts, etc.
