Chris has supported thousands of women business owners in writing their stories and publishing their books, while also building a community of more than 30,000 members.

Chris Olsen is the guiding force behind Publish Her and Publish Her Story, an award-winning publishing company and magazine, both dedicated to elevating the words, writing and stories of women. Chris grew up in the printing industry (her dad was a 40-year offset press operator), majored in editorial and print publication design, and went on to work in mainstream media for 15 years before launching her business. An educator and author of “Whyography: Building a Brand Fueled by Purpose,” Chris has helped thousands of women tell their stories and publish their books. Since 2018, Publish Her has awarded more than $250,000 in grants and services to underrepresented women business owners and authors.
