OUTFRONT Media recognized leading women-owned businesses across a diverse spectrum of industries in the U.S. with its “Lifted Up by HerStory” awards. The effort elevated 40 of today’s business and community leaders for the impact of their achievements.
Among the leaders honored and featured on billboards nationwide was Chris Olsen, founder of Publish Her and Publish Her Story (formerly My Founder Story). Both organizations are dedicated to elevating the words, writing and stories of women. A broadcast media veteran turned communications consultant, educator and author of “Whyography: Building a Brand Fueled by Purpose,” Chris has helped thousands of women tell their stories and publish their books. Since 2018, her social enterprise has donated more than $250,000 in grants and services to women.

Pigment International is a multimedia arts platform that evangelizes for Black art curation and innovation. Based in Chicago, the organization creates digital and print publications that seek to advance the Black contemporary aesthetic in the visual arts. The Underline is a nonprofit organization leading the initiative to transform the underutilized land below Miami’s Metrorail into a 120-acre linear park, urban trail and public art destination spanning 10 miles in the urban core. HipCityVeg is a plant-based restaurant with nine locations throughout Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C. and New York City. Nicole also founded Bar Bombón and Charlie Was a Sinner in Philadelphia, as well as the Save Philly Restaurants Coalition, a group representing owners of 300 restaurants.
