Publish Her anthologies serve several purposes. In addition to elevating the words, stories and writing of women like you, 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of Publish Her anthologies benefit publishing grants for underrepresented women authors. That means that by sharing your work, you help lift up other women whose work may otherwise be overlooked.

Intro to Publishing Workshop (Virtual) – Oct. 3, 2025, 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. CST
Publish Her’s Intro to Publishing Workshop educates authors on the publishing industry and various book publishing models and provides real world behind-the-scenes publishing insights you won’t find on the internet. Get valuable information to help ensure your manuscript is ready for publication and determine which publishing path is right for you. This virtual workshop is led by publishing expert Chris Olsen and includes ample opportunity to ask questions about book publishing.

Self-Publish Like a Pro Group Workshop – Parts One and Two (Virtual) – Oct. 16 and 17, 2025, 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. CST
Publish Her’s Self-Publish Like a Pro Group Workshop offers hands-on publishing support for do-it-yourselfers. It provides valuable insights for self-publishing your book, from ensuring it’s ready to publish and marketable to navigating ever-changing publishing platforms to publishing and promoting your finished product. Virtual sessions are led by publishing expert Chris Olsen.
In part one, you get the inside scoop on book publishing and guidance and resources for setting up your book for success, including essential information on editing, design and marketing.
In part two, you get a behind-the-scenes look at what various self-publishing platforms offer, see how the platforms function, and watch the self-publishing process in action.
