Payment: Authors receive payment for essays selected to be included in “Publish Her Anthology: Dear Body.”

Rights: Publish Her requests first serial rights on the essays published in this anthology, meaning the essay should not have appeared anywhere else, either in print or online. (This includes publication on an author’s own website.) If your essay is published in the anthology, we request a period of exclusivity (one year) and the right to keep the essay in print as part of the anthology. Publish Her does not request more rights than needed to produce this anthology or place any limits on what the author can do with the essay after the exclusivity period. Copyright always remains with the author.
