Publish Her’s Intro to Publishing Workshop educates authors on the publishing industry and various book publishing models and provides real world behind-the-scenes publishing insights you won’t find on the internet. Get valuable information to help ensure your manuscript is ready for publication and determine which publishing path is right for you. This live/virtual workshop is led by publishing expert Chris Olsen and includes ample opportunity to ask questions about book publishing.

Intro to Publishing Workshop includes:

  • 90-minute live/virtual session via Zoom (60-minute overview and 30-minute Q&A session)

  • This workshop is broadcast live on the internet via Zoom.
  • The live/virtual workshop’s visual presentation is displayed directly from the presenter’s computer to the screen of your computer or phone.
  • The live/virtual audio is delivered through your computer’s speakers, auxiliary speakers, or over your phone.
  • The Q&A is managed through submissions in the chat with questions being read by a member of our staff or the presenter for the entire class to hear.
  • By attending the live/virtual workshop and/or asking questions, your full name may be stated during the event or captured in a recording.

Chris Olsen is the founder of Publish Her and Publish Her Story, an independent publishing company and digital publication, both dedicated to elevating the words, writing and stories of women.
